SpellBinder( Australian series): A fantasy adventure series about a teenager who finds himself accidentally marooned in a world parallel to his own. It's a world where the industrial revolution never happened, where a powerful group called Spellbinders are in charge and where the people are controlled by manipulation of their fear and ignorance. He immediately faces dangers. He does not know where he is or how to return home. He is instantly recognized as an outsider and accused of being an enemy of the Spellbinders. Paul is helped by a young girl, Riana. She befriends him and by combining her local knowledge and skills with his abilities drawn from life in the 1990, the two of them outwit and outmanoeuvre the Spellbinders.
