I was thinking this place would look much more professional and "relevant", I guess, if the color sheme mimicked the NES's two-tone scheme.

Two shades of gray on a black, with white for text and some red thrown into the mix would really scream "NES!!!" to me.

Just a suggestion. The current theme reminds me of old monochrome computer screens rather than NES. (Ha, like my sig.)

That is actually a really good idea, but remember that would also kill the neon green on black tradition of the nes files. It would kill the nostalgia of all of us "nes files veterans"

These are a remake of the older forums so to speak using better forum software. The old ones (Which had the same color scheme) was around for a while, but I dont know an exact date.

The NES Files has had the traditional green on black theme since 1998 or so. That's almost 7 years now... These new forums have been up for just over 1 month now.

The idea of the two shades of grey isn't bad, but I dunno how much I want to mess with the color scheme right now... I'll take it under advisement-- thanks.
