There's a red dot on the "Super Famicom" icon. And on the control pad (A button).

The Famicon is more red than the SFC, though...

the european one is cosmetically the same as the sfc aside from the printing of the name. so it also has the red on the logo and A button.

i somehow prefer the jpn/eur console, but the us cart design.. i dunno.
one thing though, i HATE playing with a us controller.. they suck. they feel all wrong with their concave buttons and wierd feeling buttonpresses.
anyone in the us, invest in a euro controller or two, it's definately worth it.

I've never seen a Euro one, I always assumed they were the same. Could you post some photos of what they look like, and point out the differences?

I prefer the Jap/PAL version, it's not only the one I own, but I think it's more stylish.

so, it's exactly the same, just that X and Y aren't concave... I don't see that as a major problem, certainly not worth importing a controller over :P

I have a controller just like that one in the link above . IT was called a Super Pad or something it was exactly the same.

I also looked at an image of the US controller and I don't really see a problem... :?
