that's the only probalem I have with MegaMan games, I've got MM 6 now, but haven't put much time into it due to the tedium of figuring out the order...

I never really go in any order. I look for the guy with the coolest looking power and attack him first. Otherwise i just go in order from left to right

Well, not to long ago I played a hack of MM 1. Here's the link to it:

http://nesalt.neschannel.com/hacks/demons/index.html

When I went through that, I noticed that the Elec weapon really hurt Ice Man. It's been so long since I've gone through the original, that I'm not sure if the weapons are true or not on that hack. I think I used Cut Man's weapon against Elec Man. This is all random order that I'm remembering, by the way. ummm... I used Bomb Man's against Guts Man.... I think I used Ice against Fire Man and the rest with the Cut blades... I can't really remember. Maybe this will help some, though.

That's probably the best way to do it. Although I find the bosses fairly easy to beat with just the plain old arm cannon. When fighting the mega man clone toward the end of the game I found the fire cannon to be most effective. Other than that...

Have you ever been to http://www.mmhp.net? They have a suggested order for every game.

Yeah, another pretty cool place to look for Mega Man info is here:

http://www.ripgames.neschannel.com/nintendo.html

It covers the six on NES. I never checked to see if MM7 is in the SNES section, though it may be.

You can continue as many times as you want. Just don't reset the console! Seems the first Mega Man is the only one without any form of password system. If you're using an emulator you can use save states. Only use them after you finish a level though. Don't use them to cheat.

This is exactly what I am doing.
Thanks for the reply.

Hi, I am stuck in Willy's level. I don't have a picture with me of the situation but it is after crossing the spikes using flying robots.
When I get up the ladder, i see a big wall which can't be crossed.
Can some one help me.
