I recently bought a Gameboy Advanced SP. I had all these games in NES and SNES, and they all worked flawlessly. However, I have run into a problem with Super Mario Bros 3 (Advanced 4) on the GBA. I can't figure out how to show the item list. (for example, if I obtain a leaf, how do I use it?) I have tried all buttons, without success. Does anyone have any thoughts? I bought the game on eBay, and it didn't come with the manual. I didn't think that would be a problem, but perhaps I was wrong!

Well, on SMB3 on the NES when you're on the overworld map, you just push the 'B' button.

Hmmm. Well, it says B buttion there too, but it's not working for some reason. Strange. Thanks for taking the time to post that URL, though. Maybe it's a problem with the game I bought.

No problem man. Have you tried maybe holding down the B button, then pushing in the directions? I have no clue myself honestly. Also, have you made sure that it's something that you picked up out of a treasure chest, and not just a second leaf that you grabbed? I'm grasping at straws here :? Hope you get it figured out.

I just found it! On the back of the unit, there's two objects I didn;t know the purpose of until now. I had actually been messing with them earlier trying to see what they were for, but when the unit was off. I didn't think about them being buttons. Anyway, when one of them is pressed, it allows you to do all the stuff with cards, and the other one brings up the item list! Cool. I didn't even realize they were buttons until now. :)
