possible, but you'd be better off searching for one that's already translated. are there any specific games you have in mind? I have a rather large selection of translated ROMs to various languages.

i wish someone would translate the Japanese version of Bionic Commando (or as it's called Top Secret: Hitler's Rivival). If you've never played it, it's significantly cooler than the US NES version.. more items, secrets, "uncensored" things. Some people at the GameFAQs BC board have started a translation project, but it's been stalled for some reasons, including the fact they need someone who knows Japanese to help translate a few remaining pieces of dialog. I could never find a fully translated version of 'Top Secret Hitler's Revival' but there is a ROM patch for 'Bionic Commando' that can be found here. And here is the program that applies the patch.
