With the X-Box 360? It seems microsoft will be releasing 2 different verions of their system. One with a hardrive, and one without. They will be priced 400 dollars, and 300 dollars,

It really depends on what the limitations of the lower system are in comparison to the more powerful one. If it's not anything greatly different, then I think it's good that they're offering a system that is lower priced for people that may not utilize the extra features, or younger people who may not understand them. As long as both play games, I wouldn't care either way, but..... I'm a bit of a Nintendo fanboy anyway.

I still think ps3 will have the advantage by being backwards compatable with 2 generation of game systems. It's pretty awesome and makes it have a HUGE library of games.

Its a one time deal. You spend it once and have a good old time playing a huge selection of video games. It'll be worth it.

But I mean, not many kids 13-17 have the money to spend 600 dollars on a console. Its just too much money.

lol. Yea, but games (most fo the time) are geared toward kids from 10-19. Of course older people play video games, like my brother, but I'm just saying not many people will save up 600 dollars for a system, and for extra controllers, and memory cards, and games, another 100 dollars. So, not many people will even save up 700 dollars for a "video game system"! I don't want to spend 700 dollars to play games.

It's really not popular here. :) I don't want to pay more than 250$ for a console (that's what I paid back then for my Cube or my N64...). So I'll wait till the price goes under that line and buy my fav.

Yes, Thats true, but the systems probably sell better in their country of origin, Even if ithey sell good here in the USA they sell better in Japan (Or if they sell in Japan Good they sell better in the USA [In the xbox's Case]) .
