I just finished overclocking my NES for the first time ever, I put the project off until I was at school and finished with my mame cabinet. I stepped it up to something like 2.8mhz which fixes a lot of the Megaman 6 slow down.
Later this weekend i'm going to install a switch to jump between 2.8 and 4.0. I'm not sure how many games will work at 4.0 but it should be fun times.

WoW! I'm impressed! I can't believe you did that MAME cabinet on your own :)

I'm new at this, but I was wondering, how do you guys overclock a NES (I've never really overclocked anything so I have no idea) :?:
