This article confirms that Nintendo will not be simply giving away classic games for Revolution. While that would be nice and undoubtedly boost sales of the console, I'll keep my NES game collection, thank you...Nintendo Revolution is nothing to me than a TV remote with a side of recycled overpriced classics. This may boost the NES interest again...

My List. Remember, everything can be bought, for a price.

Yea, I heard this a while ago. The only way they could make me download some older games, rather than buying the "real" game is to have Online. Now that would be cool. 8)

I would have been more suprised if they were free. I think i'll stick to buying the "real" games as well.

I think theres a lot of support so far. I've been on IGN boards for quite some time, and theres about 100 people who post on the rev board, and most of them (almost all) think its a great idea. I'm not judging until I try it. Its nice that you can still use a controller for some games though.

I know you had to pay before they said it. And by the way just to let you know FREE ONLINE!!! so I think that makes up for it.

I'm quite sure some guys will at least try to mod it so you can run all kinds of emulators on it.

Emulators nothin', I think that Nintendo's claims of reverse compatability may leave a program succeptable to exploitation if they chose to simply the process by adding their own emulators (which, as they know their hardware, will be much more efficient) and could be exploited for use on slower consoles. Sounds lame, but it would be something at least looking into for some of the 1337 |-|/-\X0RZ out there.

I know next to nil when it comes to xboxes. Is the 360 going to weigh as much as the old xbox? Are they (or have they already) made the old xbox slimmer (much like the new PS2's)? I just don't like the idea that if I accidently drop a game system on my foot (I have big feet so they are always in my way) that it would break my foot in half. :D

I need friends.... I had to nix Tom. He wasn't really my friend. His smile "mocked" me.

I have no idea about its how heavy it is but I do know that if it lands on your foot the right way somethin' might break. or jam a toe or two. but I know it'll leave a bruse. (...I've never had to spell "bruse" before so that might be wrong) But Xbox has Halo and I'd REALLY love to see the New Gen. Halo games. :D eat, sleep, kill, eat, eat, kill, kill, kill, kill, eat, and kill some more.

:EDIT: the name "murder_killz" looses its machoness when its in pink...

Dont get me wrong im all for Nintendo but its the general masses/casual gamers out there who usually get the ps's and the xbox's. I usally go for nintendo first but this year i wanna try something different since most of the 3rd party companies work for sony or microsoft platforms.
