Have you ever heard of an 80in1 cart? How much would that be worth? & how likely would I be to see another one floating around?

NEways, I saw the guy pick this up and walk off with it. I asked him if I could look at it, it was black with a picture of Tetris on it and it seemed to be in Japanese but was definetly either pal or ntsc.

For under 5$ that is definitely a rare find I'd say. :)
Too bad that the guy before you was luckier than you. :?

Anyone know what the 80-in-1's approximate value is? Also, is it PAL as I suspected or NTSC?

The thing is, if it's PAL...just maybe, the guy won't be able to get it work and pawn it off or return it. Which there is still then possibility for me to get it. Also, the guy probably got it for nostalgic reasons, a middle aged man bought it and he also had MLB...so...he's probably not a dedicated collector.

BTW...that wasn't the cart NESmaster.

Is that the one they had at the Hock Shop? I offered them $20 and they didn't take it. I guess they'll eventually find a sucker to buy it for $50.

Not to get off topic or sound like an idiot, but what is are the differences between PAL and NTSC? I have been wondering about that for sometime now.

Here's a basic explanation for you:

Yeah that works...or when it comes to games simply, one is for European stuff (PAL) and one is for North American versions (NTSC).

PAL and NTSC are not interchangeable, however you can mod your systems to be able to play both. Sometimes it doesn't matter, but it definetly matters when it comes to NES.

What I don't get is what gave you the impression it was PAL when you saw it?

I was just indicating that it could be, since I couldn't find a NTSC cart that resembled it & Pirated carts are more common in Europe???
