I want to know, what is the game with the most sequels? Final Fantasy is up there, but im sure there are some obscure shitty games with 899 releases.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms is up there too. Edit: Not sure how many sequels there were, but I recall there being 12.

MegaMan... 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 X, X2, X3, X4, X5, X6, X7, (was there an X8?) then the Zero series. Battle Network series. although those are separate series... Bomberman has a vew hundred games too...

Mario has quite a bit of games too. the TMNT have had a alot.... i can think of 18 off the top of my head Castlevania has a bunch

Im thinking more along the lines of numbered games, like FF1, FF2, FF3, FF4, Etc. not really seperate series.

The only other gameseries that has passed FF are just Megaman and Dragon Quest. Everything else has stopped no further then 5 games or so. I don't count Mario cause they have only like 6 adventure games for him at most, then tryed to mix him in other stuff.

I guess its Final Fantasy then, because i dont think different releases of the same 'general idea' count. Like i wouldnt count the GBA based FF releases. just the numbered, console based versions. thanks guys.

I think Momotaro Dentetsu is a good canditate. Part 15 will be out on December 8th this year for PS2.

O yea, the way Nintendo is making them, soon Mario Party will have 20 sequels :lol: .
