My little brother likes video games, always has. But the earliest system that he had experience with was the N64. So, I'm going to surprise him this Christmas with an SNES (complete with splitter, controllers, and games). So, I'm trying to figure out which games to get him. He's a mainstream gamer, so punishing difficulty levels wouldn't be fun for him. He really likes multiplayer, though. Suggestions?

Yeah, I'm definitely getting him SMK and Bomberman. Thinking about Samurai Shodown. He was interested in Harvest Moon when he saw me playing it, so I'll get him that... Not sure what else.

Yoshi's Island is awesome good fun. He might also enjoy the Donkey Kong Country series.

ALl above are great choices. Just becareful where you pick up Harvest Moon. Its expensive. Definetely DK Country. And the gameboy player if he owns any old gameboy games.

Yoshi's Island, Super Street Fighter II, Donkey Kong Country, Secret of Mana, Super Mario Kart. Something from every genre.
You're a nice brother. :)

You should definatly try to find Yoshi's Island. It's really fun. Donkey Kong Country is good as well, but best of all: Mario Paint. Visit my Blog - Updated Nov 27th 2005

Yeah, that's the one. You start up as a fish, buy evolution upgrades, end up as a person. Interesting concept. Haven't been able to find it, though.

That's an intresting game concept. Did it get a PAL release? If so (and it's cheap) i'll definately look into it.
