Everyone knows ryu hayabasa was THE ninja in gaming. there just isn't any competition.
But who was the coolest ninja? ryu was the best, but was he as cool as shinobi? the ninjas from blue shadow?
Any ninja is Eligeble, as long as theyre a ninja. robots and aliens get extra points for coolness.

 Kage is deffintaly up there (Legend of Kage)  and so is Hayate, he's one badass mutha fluffa (Shadow of the Ninja.... Blue Shadow in Europe) and of course the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles....

Well, Ryu is certainly much better than Shinobi. because Shinobi sucks. As far as I'm concerned, the only competition are the TMNT.

HAGANE! Coolest ninja with puffy pants ever. Armed with bombs, knives, a chain whip, a sword (with an inexplicable jet trail), crazy cartheeling super attacks, and insane escape sequences, he's easily one of the top contenders. Besides, he's a robot. Extra points.

Man, I think Ryu Hayabusa is the coolest ninja... but TMNT and Zen (intergalactic style ;) ) are way up there for me as well. I like almost every game with a ninja in it, but there are only a select few. BTW, Shinobi rocks! (just doesn't rock as hard as some)
