http://www.silicium.org/console/nintendo/nes_tech.htmI found this interesting site a few minutes before. It's in French, but not so difficult. Even I can understand most of it. On that page they show a 3D goggle for the Famicom. (Somewhere in the middle. It says "Les lunettes 3d") Does anybody here own these? Is this thing good? Does it really work?

And the google translationthere are a few interesting things on there, those glasses are the most interesting. I didn't know anything like that existed. It'd be very interesting to see what they were like. I suspect somewhat like the terrible Virtual Boy though...

I read on another page that they cause headaches quickly. But that doesn't matter. It would be cool to just own these. 8)
I also didn't even know that such glasses existed. There are also 3D glasses for many other classic systems like the Master System or so.

Nice link! That is interesting. I know there are games in 3-D (Rad Racer, Worldrunner), but I've never heard of those either! Something that needs looked into. It says the are pretty rare! Also, anybody notice on the translation, it said The Furnace Score, instead of The Four Score? :P http://robertlbryant.com

I wonder how good the 3D effect is, though. Ah, I want those!! :o http://page13.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r6963039In Japan non-used systems go away very cheap, so I think, the 3D system will be mine, when I go to Japan next time. :D

Yes, that's true. 15$. I will definitely get one. Just need to register at Yahoo auctions.
Perhaps I'll buy more and sell them for horror prices on eBay.

OR you could donate them to all of your cool friends on the NES files :) I think the ebay thing would work though... I hadn't even heard of the thing before your link so it must be pretty rare.

I think it's only rare outside of Japan. I saw lots of them on Yahoo auctions and lots of those were still factory sealed.
