I am torn right now between the PS3 and the Nintendo Revolution. I know that Nintendo's next gen system will be cheaper and will have neat new features, but PS3 is a power house graphics monster, but will definately be more expensive. I can not get both systems because I can only concentrate on one console at a time. There's quite a bit of time before they are both release, so that will give me time to debate more on which I should purcahse.

Is that an official list? I was hoping for more N64 games.

Yeah, when we consider that Blu-Ray players alone are going to sell for $1800 USD when they launch, the PS3, even if Sony can afford to eat a huge loss is going to be $1000+. Since it's much more than just a Blu-Ray player... Remember, Kutaragi did say "it'll be expensive".

No, that's not an official list, and if it were, more games would be added. It's just some pile of crap "I hope these games are on there!!!!111!" list. the same ones everyone is publishing and presenting as fact.

That is the list of games that you can get the day the REVO comes out.

No it isn't.

You based it on this: http://1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3146907

Which is a total pile of crap. IF Nintendo even did this supposed survey, it's nothing more than that, there's no confirmation of anything.

honestly, don't count on seeing any Japanese games in there, unless they have the same downloadable library worldwide.

Hopefully the REVO is region free like the NDS. I just can't wait to see what 3rd party games that you can buy.

I suppose there will be a lot more games playable.

And it's maybe good only to trust OFFICIAL lists, i.e. from Nintendo themselves.

I personally don't think that the PS3 will be 1000$.
A console with a price of 4 digits?

Sony is (perhaps) not so stupid.
I guess between 599 and 799$. Let's wait and see and get back to topic.

I hope all the games that only came out in Nintendo-Power download stations in Japan.

But wait...all the past generation console releases have released at at like $200-$400 so it will be really odd to have a $600 or $800...(or whatever) console this time. Besides, this system isn't 2 times more powerful than XBOX 360 so why should it be twice the price?!

Maybe it's better if I didn't have an avatar so i didn't have to spend all my time making one...

It will be more expensive to produce, that's why it *supposedly* will be more expensive than the XBox 360.
The power of the machine doesn't have anything to do with the price.
The PS2 is 149$, right? A Cube you can get for around... 80 I guess?
Is the PS2 twice as powerful as the Gamecube now?

The power of a console needs NOT to be reflected in the price.

It has to effect the price. The more power=more $ to spend making each one.
