I had FF7 since it came out and never really played it. I started agine and hope to beat it before Christmas! how long did it take you to beat this game?

i can remember it took about a week (with school in the way) to end the first disc, then it took me like a Day (a saturday) to finsish second disc, then a few days for the 3rd right now, im at like 40 hours cause i left it on for like 17 hours. I know my brothers friend Chris Henrichsen, has beaten it with every single item in the game, and the golden Chocobo, his time is 99:59:59 but he got everything he Conquered "conquered " it.

I'm 1:56 into it. Just saved the Flower girl froms those soldiers and now off to her house.

Great fantastic game and very addicting. Id say it took me around probably 2 weeks to finish it at the most. Never could beat emerald or ruby weapon though even at level 90. Im too lazy to breed the gold chocobo and get the Knights of the round materia and all that. Just so you know ruby and emerald weapon are 2 optional EXTREMELY hard bosses to beat.

The last game I made, I finished it in 58 hours, got all the materia, all the limits, all characters, gold chocobo, beat both Ruby and Emerald Weapon, and all the final weapons for each character.
It was, and still is, my favorite RPG.
But if it's your first time playing, expect it to take a good 60+ hours to finish it.
