I stumbled upon this today.
That's a neat comparison I think.

That's pretty neat. I never realised that the revolution was/is going to be so small.
And yeah, the 360 is big.

Too bad they don't have the Sega Genesis / CD / 32X combo machine in there to consume and confound those other systems.

EDIT - I didn't realize the Revolution was so tiny either.

It's a sad thing that your adventures have ended here!!

Thats cool :P . I though that the Revolution was just a computer CD-rom drive in the picture! The PS3 looks like it might be bigger than the XBOX.

Yeah, the PS3 is that big and they still say they can't fit all the components in there. :P

When Nintendo announced the size of the Rev I tried it and took 3 DVD cases out of my shelves. That was the time when I was astonished about how small it would be.
And in comparison to PS3, XBox and Xbox360 it's really tiny. Even smaller than the PS2 slimline model. :)

It's so tiny! I'm afraid my fat cats would step on it/kick it and break it!

I need friends.... I had to nix Tom. He wasn't really my friend. His smile "mocked" me.

The Xbox 360 isn't really that big, and it's a pretty good looking system. Unfortunately, they never show you the POWER SUPPLY for the damn thing, which is about the size of a loaf of bread. Well, it's not THAT big. But it's pretty ridiculous, and weighs about as much as the system.

Believe me, even the fattest cats there are can't break a console from Nintendo. They could pee on it and that would probably do some harm to it, but usually they are unbreakable.
The Revolution is designed to be carried around a lot (I think, hence the small size), so Nintendo would bear in mind that it may be dropped eventually. And it shouldn't break so fast.

Yeah, the power supply thing for the 360 is just stupidly/annoyingly big. And it's damn ugly.
I tried the three dvd case thing as well, it really put its size into perspective. Y'all should try it.

The Power Supply for the 360 looks almost the size of the Revolution.

I actually tried it with the Futurama Season 1 box. :) Has exactly 3 DVDs.
And after knowing how big Rev will be I watched Futurama. That was a nice day... :P

I bet it was.
I used 3 regular DVD cases, but I imagine it's pretty close to the size.
I also measured the size of the 360 power pack thing. Roughly;

6.7 cm Wide
22 cm Length
about 4.5 cm thick

sorry for the poor description

the only thing i don't like about the chart is how on the first row, everything is on it's side except the GameCube.... what's that all about? you'd think if they put the Xbox on the side they'd put the GC its side too

15x11x16.1 does not equal a cube. I'd say it's more of a GameCuboid.

Add the gameboy player and it gets much closer.
