Konami Computer Entertainment Japan y Nintendo han anunciado hoy conjuntamente el desarrollo de Silent Hill 5 para la nueva consola de sobremesa de la gran N, conocida como "Revolution" (nombre en clave). Aunque todo parecía indicar que el videojuego iba a terminar corriendo sobre el hardware de Play Station 3, como casi todos inocentemente creíamos,finalmente los chicos de Konami se han dejado seducir por el innovador mando de control de "Revolution". Según Akira Yamaoka, productor de la saga "Estamos excitados por las grandes posibilidades del nuevo controlador.Creemos que la saga Silent Hill debe dar un nuevo giro y Revolution es la solución para llevar a cabo nuestros innovadores planes"

Silent Hill 5 aparecerá en exclusiva para Nintendo Revolution. Las primeras imágenes serán mostradas, según el propio Yamaoka, durante el Electronic Entertainment Expo que se celebrará en mayo de 2006.
