THis is how you'll play all those old Nintendo games on the Wii.

Its cool, but it really needs a six button face for N64 games, and maybe Genesis.

This has already been posted in the "Nintendo News thread". Either way it looks pretty nice.

Is this Wii classic controller gonna be included with the Wii when you buy it or is it going to be sold seperatly?

My guess is seperately, not everybody is going to be interested in playing lego games.

I'm quite sure it was confirmed to be seperate, but nothing is final yet.

I'm praying for the "retro" bundle, with the NES themed Wii, and the classic controller included.

Anyone else think it would be strange to play a genesis game that used all 3 buttons on the classic controller, or some 64 games?

Genesis games using "all" 3 buttons would be no problem, ones using all 6 would be handled on the shoulder buttons.

I don't think we need to worry about N64 games, Rare games won't be on the virtual console, so that pretty much negates the reason for playing the thing.

Woo, that would be nice and worth the wait. :D
I saw the controller in several videos and have come to be quite fond of it. I want it! It seems very nice to handle. :)

I'm kinda dense today... what's the "home" button for? Is that like a reset button to bring you back to the main menu?

I need friends.... I had to nix Tom. He wasn't really my friend. His smile "mocked" me.

Yeah, that would kick ass. It could be as popular as the NES themed Gameboy SP.

The home button could be a reset button. Or, it could be like the "guide" button on the xbox 360 controller, that, when pressed, brings up the "system" menus - i.e settings, connect to xbox live etc. Or it could just be a "home" button in the literal sense, i.e if you're playing online it takes you back to the main menu. It may have different uses depending under what circumstances it's used.
