If you read the whole this carefully (which I didn't do at first but I now have) you'll get the full story.
He had created another account to get get "offers" on a rare cart that he had just bought. He wasn't going to sell it but he did want to know what it was worth. He used a different account because he didn't want the hassle from people knowing he just bought the cart and knew what he paid for it, he wanted offers based up what it might be worth instead.
Sure he might have went about it the wrong way but he didn't scam anyone. He didn't take any money from anyone and refuse to ship the product so how could he be a scammer? I think DP went a little overboard on this myself.
