Well I was playing Mario Kart with some friends, and when I started the game I got this title screen:  as opposed to the regular one:  Anyone know why or how this happened?

I'm pretty sure that is caused by beating every Grand Prix mode by getting golds. Several N64 games have different title screens when you beat it/complete it. The only one that comes to mind besides that is star fox 64

Allrite that would make sense then because the last time I played it I'm pretty sure I beat that with all gold tropheys. Thanks

Oh yeah... Jet Force Gemini had a whole bunch of different title animations that showed how far you had progressed in the game. And Mario Party's title screen was based on who won the last game.
