I'm wondering what the value of Kirby Super Star for the SNES is, cart only. A friend wants to sell his to me and I'm not sure of what it's actually worth. E-bay doesn't have many copies listed so I'm wondering if the prices are inflated or if it's really worth near $30 Canadian cart-only.

Check out the SNES have & want lists at http://www.angelfire.com/droid/snesshrine

Digital Press says $20 US loose. They're generally not all too accurate, but I guess it's something to consider.

Do you think Pawn shops look on sites like that? Or when they see people always coming in and buying those type of games say Snes or Nes or Genesis or whatever do you think they would rise the price then?

I think many of them use eBay as a guideline. Which is why we see retardedly high prices on common things. Because they're all "RARE OMFG L@@K!!!!!"

Yeah, Luke, don't you know that Castlevania is rare?! Just look at any Ebay seller. Look, I think I know what I'm talking about here. What do you know? You're just a collector that goes to collecting forums and collects games and has contact with a great number of sensible sellers, thereby garnering a healthy understanding of prices. Jerk.

NOTE At the risk of ruining the joke, I still feel the need to clarify this vague in-joke in that it was a dig at a pompous former member who offered games at ridiculously high prices, and then responded to criticism with insults and general jackassery. In no way, shape or form was the dig/joke/insult aimed at Luke or any other respected individual in the forum, please don't sue me.
