You know what I'm sick and tired of? That we are being back-talked by other NES communities all the time, NESforums is absolutely no exception.
What is it that we have done, except minding our own business. What all the members want here is to discuss NES relations in peace, without getting bothered with all these people who come in here just to spam and make flame wars.
Now, all of a sudden, the very person who has called us a bunch of "dimwits" is the nicest person the world's ever seen, because he wants us to join these forums.
It's like everybody wants to bring this site down, well let me tell you something, this was the first and only site I registered to, and I don't visit any other NES forums, but this one.
This is the best site I've ran into (and yes, it beats NESForums) and I'm not leaving, or joining any other forums.
People here may disagree with my opinion in this matter, but I was just letting out what was in my mind.
If anyone has any problems with this post, then PM me, I'm open for discussion in this matter.

Of course I'm with you on that. We don't need any trouble here.
And seeing the NES files always being talked bad about really makes me angry, but when you think about it, we should just not hear to that sh*t. People saying that aren't worth listening to.
Many say NES files are bad, because they have problems with rules (there's c8b and some others who got banned from here).
What I think is that the NES files forums is one of the best damn forums out there.
I've now read into several forums and most of them are just a bunch of people bragging off with their collections. They don't talk more about the NES than we do, they just think so. I tried to calculate the ratio of on-topic vs off-topic talk and NES files beats most forums in that point.
So let's ne proud of OUR forums, no matter what others say.
And we need no wars of any kind being brought into this forum. I don't even know why people start such stupid "wars". Shouldn't we all big a big community sharing a hobby together?
Should there be trouble again, you (Luke) can surely count on my help on cleaning up. Even if you need a second admin I'm there for help. Just drop me a line. Until that I do my best erasing spam posts and other garbage. :)
As for other forums: Sometimes I read and post at other forums, too, because some people are really nice. Even at nesforums are nice people (Roth, Daynum, David, figgy and more) and on Famicom World are some nice guys.
My main focus will always be the NES files for sure. 8)

I agree 100% with you, manuel. I would also be more than happy to help if a second admin was needed.

When someone says they are going to post a message here about mysite, I make sure i go first. If you didnt like the message, all you had to do was click the little x in the top right part of the thread to close my message. No reason to curse like a child at me in PM's either, if you ask kindly, you will be further in life.

Following the log, and tracing his IP Address, every attempt was unsucessful, so no worries!
Thanks! Firstly, c8b was never an admin here. Secondly, nobody tried to hack into any accounts here. Thirdly, you couldn't follow the logs if they had. That was a default message that you spammed on severl forums in an effort to make yourself look like the good guy in your little personal war with c8b. To be honest, if you hadn't spammed here, and tried to drag everyone else into it with you, this WOULD be done. As I've said before, I'm thoroughly disgusted that you would result to such tactics. For the record though, you did instigate the whole thing. Nobody was flaming DKOldies on your site, they were simply calling him on his shipping scam. Even he himself remained calm throughout the whole ordeal. But, as you told me, drop it, it's done. Everyone knows what went on, they can form their own opinions on the matter. From now on, if you have personal problems on Forums, keep them on Forums. Files has no involvement in this whatsoever.

Every community on the internet hates other communities, and if we're the current black sheep of the collecting community, so be it. Personally, I like having a little haven in between pirahna forums.

Was I out of line, yes. If I don't care for site, I should just not visit it, it was immature for me to bash on another site. I have heard people say negative things about my sites before, that is just part of being online I guess, and I just tell them to not visit my site. If I offended or made any enemies I am sorry for that. I apologize. We are ALL gamers at heart, so there is no point in any/all of this drama. I hope this all ends from all parties involved on all the forum sites. We are all in this for fun and entertainment. When all this crap starts it isn't fun for anyone anymore. After this post I am done with all this drama and will not post on it anymore, not worth any of our time to keep fighting back and forth. Luke I hope you will consider locking this thread in hopes to help end all of this, but that is entirely your call. Sorry for the long post, I am not trying to take sides or fight with anyone.
