As for getting a REAL top loader for $60, that would be SWEET! man, $50+ for an NES? I've seen probably a dozen in the last month for like, $5 CANADIAN. many with a game, two controllers, cables, and other junk. If only I could find a box of 'em for $2, like I did with my Genesiseseseseseses.

Jesus, I wish I had gotten into NES a tad earlier then.
Still got any of those complete (system, cables 1 controller) Genesis systems? Think you'd let one go??

I first played this game about 6 years ago when I saw it at my friend's house. He said it didn't work anymore and I could have it. I went home and broke the case (I didn't have the bit to unscrew nes games at the time) and cleaned the contacts really good with alcohol and put it inside an extra Duck Hunt cartridge I had laying around (for some reason duckhunt didn't need a special bit to unscrew it open).
It was probably the one game that got me back into playing my NES. I love that game and have finished it twice.
I played almost to the end of DWII but never got around to finishing that one.
the original was definately addictive for me, and will always love that game

Exactly why I've only played through the whole thing once. I liked the game enough, it was just too long...the constant forced battles had me falling asleep and drooling on the controller.
