I just had the most f'd experience. I don't really use my gmail very often (I prefer my rocketmail address) and finally went to check my gmail (after about a month of not checking it). Sure I had 3000 spams and over 300 crap items in my inbox. But this is where it gets messed up. I registered my name "rocketpops" the first month that gmail was out (so obviously somebody else couldn't have that name). In my inbox was a conformation for a myspace account. Jenni doesn't have myspace linked to her gmail account. Apparently this person has the email of rocket.pops@gmail.com and I've been getting his stupid myspace shit. That includes username and password! So either this is a problem on myspace's end or gmails. Just thought I'd give you a heads up that one of the two has some severe privacy issues.
I emailed both so we'll see who's to blame. http://www.myspace.com/jennikisaI need friends.... I had to nix Tom. He wasn't really my friend. His smile "mocked" me.

I remember reading this in either a Network Computing issue or on Slashdot. Something about the dot not being processed properly. I don't recall much on the issue, but here is a short article regarding the issue. http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20060120-6022.htmlThat is from January 06, so it has some age.
