Scroll down a little on this topic to see my review of it: http://forums.nesfiles.com/viewtopic.php?t=3087The review is really positive, but all-in-all I like the actual system the best. I ended up finding other games that didn't work with it, so the decline in my happiness began. The system is definitely sex-ay, but I wish it could run every cart flawlessly... of course that isn't going to happen with a Famiclone, but hey, I can wish ;) Personally, I'd just purchase an NES and a new 72-pin connector to make sure all of your carts are going to run on it. http://robertlbryant.com

I had a feeling it was too good to be true. I have 2 original NES top loaders, 1 stored away, and 1 i use for playing. guess I'll just stick to that. I love my top loader anyway haha

You lucky top loading NES owners. I was looking at these on eBay awhile ago...I can't believe how much these still sell for!

The only thing I don't like about the top loader is that it only has the RF and no RCA... unless you're one of the lucky few I guess. If I know my Luke's, and I think I do, that would drive him batty playing through RF ;) http://robertlbryant.com

Especially considering that I just recently shelled out $50+ for a VGA cable for the 360, I like my video signals to be clean and pure. :) I still wish they had managed some way of getting a better video signal out of the thing... But I guess since it is essentially the same thing as all of those pirate handheld games you see around, you're going to be pretty limited in design options.

ya that's true, however I've seen some modified Top loaders with the RCA jacks for sale on ebay. there's probably a guide somewhere with details on how to mod your own, but I would be too scared to do that to my top loaders haha.
