A 21 year old man from Germany (I'm ashamed a bit now...) wanted to visit his girlfriend in Sydney. Yeah, that's in Australia. It's summer there now, so he only took light clothes with him.

The flight ticket was issued with the destination "Sidney".

For people who might not know, Sidney is in the USA. In Montana to be exact.

The guy had stops in Portland and Billings, MT and then noticed his mistake. He had to wait 3 days on the airport in Billings until he got a flight to Sydney, Australia.

How stupid can one be??? ... me thinks.

Well, two words come to mind...

I don't believe that guy is among "the best"...
Don't you usually look at your ticket or flight plan and see that you're gonna go to the wrong country?

They showed this on a News Show few days ago. They were feeling sorry for him. Jeez give me a break. He should have looked at his Pass before boarding the Air craft.

That's what I say. Usually the country of you destination is written (often BOLD) in the ticket. And usually you get a piece of paper with your flight route printed on. You might at least look at that once...
