I need your guy(s)/girl help on this. I have asked every one I know and looked all over and still cannot remember this game. I saw the preview on t.v. about 6 months ago (i think?). It was about a black Swat/Police officer. He could go all around the city, building tops, alleys, and other places. You could see the other civilians kind of rooting him on (it was a crime filled/dark/dirty kind of city). I don't know what the object of the game was but I think that moving around the city you could jump really high and pick up cars??? and stuff..... And I think you kind of had a team or something??..... That's about all I remember about it :x. And I don't remember what system it was for. I would really appreciate the help :wink:. Thanks. P.S. sorry if that was kind of hard to read I had to type fast to remember the little bit that I did :D

No it wasn't True Crime...... It was a third person shooter I think but it was supposed to be known for the "free roam"

Did you even read any of the posts? Fable isn't a third person shooter, and it's not even a shooter to begin with. I don't know much about it, but I don't think you can go around throwing cars and jumping around in a city?
And the main character in Fable is a Police officer?

I'm thinking spiderman, fantastic four, or the new hulk game were you can go anywhere, and pick stuff up and throw it etc.

Not NARC or Spiderman/Hulk/F4.... I think NARC was about the closest guess yet. The main character is a HUGE black dude that could probably bench about 12312312lbs and he is dressed in all black(Like a S.W.A.T. member would).

Dear god no..... It isn't 50 Cent. I looked through all the games at Gamefly.com and didn't see a single one that looked like it :evil:. I looked through like 2000 games :shock:. This could be a hard one to come up with :(.

It might have been an early, early preview. Keep a look out, I remember when I heard the vaguest rumor about Katamari Damacy... when I asked my friends about it, well, they didn't exactly know about it yet... Uber Newb: "Hey, have you heard about that one game...?" Friend: "Oh, sure, I totally know that one. It's going to be released at that one time right, at the place?" Uber Newb: "Ha ha. Anyway, it's this one Asian game, where you push around a ball and pick stuff up, starting small, with, like, batteries, and ending up with big things like buildings and whales. Have you heard about it?" Friend: "...Huh?"

Okay, It finally dawned on me what game this is. Crackdown! I don't know how the hell I saw a commercial about it, at least a year before release, but oh well. I am just glad that I actually figured this out.
