There was a thread I could have sworn I found in off topic before about someone bragging about 12000kB/s speed rating on speedtest.net .. Though after searching for it for a bit and not finding it, I figured I might as well start a new thread on it...
Who ever it was.. check this out

Top that!

That was in the "Ouch and Yay" thread.

We also have another thread called "What type of net connection do you have?" at
http://forums.nesfiles.com/viewtopic.php?t=1621

Let's compare:

His download is a bit slower , but his upload is nearly triple of yours. Latency is also better on his side.
All in all I'd prefer logandbz's connection.

Now I ask for some pity...
This was my result:

 The "power" of DSL light...

Now in Japan with 100M Hikari Fibre...

All in all I'd agree with you on that. His tripled upload speed and lower ping times would be much more ideal for online gaming. Out of curiosity I'd like to see his score with a server at same amount of distance. 50 miles might not seem like a huge difference, but every hop a packet has to take slows it down.

 Looking at your japan rating. Dude, that's insane!! The upload is more than all of our scores combined. Talk about bringing a butterknife to a gun fight!!!

Well, that from Japan is not mine unfortunately.
I'd love to have such a connection.
You have to be lucky to have a good cable in your house. Yahoo BB and other companies offer 100M lines, but only in limited areas. Upload is "up to" 100Mbps, too, but rarely achieved.
Personally I'd be satisfied with 1M upstream, though.

Mine

Mine at 1,450 miles

I tried to pick the furthest server I could. Sorry, I couldn't find one at 200 miles.

Try a server in Asia or Europe. They're even farer away.
