Well, I haven't been posting in awhile, so for those of you who remember about my yearning for a Wii, I finally got one. And I went crazy on it too. I purchased the following:

Nintendo Wii w/ Wii Sports
2 Wii remotes
Wii Play w/ Wii remote
3 Nunchuks
Wii Classic Controller
2 Nyko charge stations

Component Cables (For my 50" Plasma TV.....BOOM! )
Super Paper Mario (Great, fun game)
Trauma Center Second Opinion (Haven't played it yet)
Red Steel (Used; Not bad. Really sensitive)
Excite Truck (Used; My sleeper game. I think it's a blast)
Zelda Twilight Princess (Haven't played it yet. I know, I know, great game. But I know once I start playing it, that's all I'll play)

All in all, I am extremely happy with the Wii. I also think it has great potential for future games (Star Wars w/ Lightsaber battles anyone?). I got everything listed above for around $700.00. No I don't have money to blow. Visa paid for all this. Very nice of them.
:D

Edit: Also picked up two gamecube games (They were free. EBGames had a two for one deal going on), Metroid: Prime and Soul Calibur II (I love this series).

The guys from VISA are very nice. They pay for my stuff, too. :P

You've got quite the package there.
3 additional nunchucks. Do you plan to play a lot with friends?

50'' plasma? ... ... *drool*...

Yeah, there's always people over. Not too many 4+ player games where you need both the remote and nunchuks.

I'll also be getting Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy, and Metroid when they come out.

I had to splurge on the TV. I do workout and other activities, but I won't lie, I spend the majority of my time in front of the TV. :?

Out of curiosity, what make/model is the TV?

Also, thank you for buying the component cables... Now do me a favour, and chop up the composite ones.

Looks like a pretty reasonable set.

At least it's actually a widescreen resolution, not some bullshit 1024x768, which is marketed as HD, despite the fact that it doesn't meet any standard for an HD resolution.

Yeah, they sell those crappy 1024x768 resolutions as "HD compatible" here in Germany.
The official standard for real HD is called "HD ready". I'm sure some people are being fooled here.

I hope Full HD panels come down to reasonable prices when I buy one.
 And I'd like to have a 100Hz model, because the picture looks so much sharper compared to the standard 50Hz.

You got a pretty sweet package there, i'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous
Wii's are more "common" here now. Problem is, my friends and I seem to be putting off getting one until somebody else does, so we can just go to their house and play theirs all the time.
