Why? The typical BioWare style of RPG is very niche. KoToR and KoToR II (probably their most popular games), are absolute crap in my opinion. Sonic needs to be a very accessible game, BioWare are the last people that should be doing it. Fire up KoToR, or watch a trailer explaining the mechanics of Mass Effect. Think that'll translate well to a Sonic game? Me either.

The DS is a very popular handheld console, seems like a good deal for the publishers of the game.
Sonic must be one of the few games I enjoyed from Sega.
Actually, not all was thinking. Some was plotting, some was planning, and finally the explaining of my plan which I plotted after I thought of it.
