I think I'm going to make a video where I show me doing a cool feat for super mario bros. 1.
Which of these would you like to see the most?
I know these things look impossible for someone to do, but I think I would be able to pull off any of those with some practice.

Feet!
Using a standard controller could be quite difficult I guess.

So there is some progress being made in all these catagories. Playing without pressing B, I ALMOST beat the game yesterday, same with getting no coins. I've also been practicing playing with my feet, I'm pretty sure I could beat the game without too much practice with my feet, which is pretty sweet. 8)

How do you get across that long jump in 8-1 without pressing B? Beating it with your eyes closed would be damned impressive. I think that could take a lifetime.

It seems you'll have to do at least 3 of your 4 offerings. :P

heh. Beating it with my eyes closed would take years. I guess I could do it. I can beat 1-1 and 1-2 with my eyes closed, but 4-1 and 1-3 both have a ton of pits you can fall down which make it 10000 times more difficult.
To beat the game without pressing B, I'd have to perform a walljump at the very end of the game. I bet I would get this after about 6 tries or so. I'm working on some speedruns, but I guess I'll work on playing with my feet and without pressing B.
What about a no coin run though guys? I guess that's about as difficult as a no B run. hmm. ok, I will do a no B run, then with my feet, after that I dont know, maybe I'll beat it while juggling or somehing. haha.

That's the spirit. :o
I'm so waiting for the youtube (or google or something) videos. And I'll make sure to send a tip to the major gaming blogs around. :)

Are you sure that you're able to beat SMB with your eyes closed?
If you are, then I double dare you to beat it, not only with your eyes closed, but turn of the sound as well.
Actually, not all was thinking. Some was plotting, some was planning, and finally the explaining of my plan which I plotted after I thought of it.

What's crazy is that you've beat the hell out of that game so bad, that these are your only options left. You get my vote for best SMB1 player of all time.

Thank you. I actually am not 100% sure if I can beat smb1 blindfolded. The others I think i could manage in a few attempts. I will attempt all of these today and will tell you my progress if you are interested. :)

I like the no coin idea just because it's cool but not insanely difficult.

I've decided not to do any of these. I'd much rather speedrun a lot of different games than continue with smb1.
