Capcom's series of Mega Man has hints of music lovers written all over them! Mega Man, as we call him in North America, is actually named Rock Man. Doesn't seem like too much to it, huh? On the other hand, his friendly female counter-parts name is Roll! I even found out just today that Proto-Man's real name is Blues! Then there are all the others such as Beat, Bass, Treble, etc. I think it's great that music can be incorporated into more than one way into video games.

There is a lot of musical references in the game!

lol. megaman is my favorite game. i unlocked the interview on megaman aniversary collection. it said the same thing. about rock and roll, and stuff like that.

Yeah that's great and all guys but I'm not quite finished with my Mega Man musical references yet... -Crash Man has the word "crash" in his name, which is a type of cymbal used on a drum set. -Mega Man's robotic canine companion is called "Rush", which is the name of a Canadian progressive-rock band. -Elec Man almost sounds like "electro", which is a form of synthesized electronic music. -The name "Ice Man" was also the nickname of R&B legend Jerry Butler. The list goes on and on...
