Still haven't found out about this.. Fact is that this is prett interesting.. How many different, and I mean different as in every single little detail, systems of every system (hehe, weird sentence!) are there - I find this quite enticing!
I just received my third 16-bit Nintendo system today, the US version of the Super Nintendo! I own two 16-bit Nintendo systems now: The Japanese Super Famicom (though inside a European shell - they do look the same except the text "Super Nintendo" vs. "Super Famicom" below the power button!) and the US Super Nintendo! I love the US Super Nintendo design. Yeah, it's more square and hard, "rough" even, around the edges so to say - But still, this design appeals more to me than the European/Japanese version of the design.
I just found my old European SNES through a buddy of a buddy of my younger brother! Number 2 in that chain bought it from me back in 1994 after I got myself the SFC! PAL SNES sucks.. However, I gotta have mine back, cause it's my lil' baby! I regret selling it! It means a lot to me, even if it's slower than it's NTSC brothers, and has a much smaller picture display.
Ok, this post wasn't entirely NES related now was it! :)
I am currently awaiting the arrival of my first US NES system, the Action Set (w/ the original grey Zapper!) - And some 90 NES games! ;)
Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rock on! Thomas
