I like your dream, too. And... beat the kids' asses for my part, too. :P

Actually you could play your NES games on a GBASP.

Or you buy a Pocket Famicom.

If only it was a bit cheaper... :(

Man dweller, you make it seem like you WANT to remain a virgin all your life.

Seriously though, portable NES's haven't fared too well from what I know. Every one is plagued either by battery limits or the inconvenience of carrying around bulky carts (unless you have a pirate 481-in-1 cart). While this seems like a cool idea, it just isn't that practical, although I figure if you're hard core enough this might just pull through for ya. I just know that huge projects like these tend to be Pyrrhic victories in the end (I got 2 Joysticks and 20 arcade buttons still in the plastic to prove that).

Perhaps if you could preserve it's ability to run as a console on a TV with an external power supply it'd be worthwhile, not to mention one hardcore NES.

My List. Remember, everything can be bought, for a price.

That was only the second "virgin" reference made on these forums so far (that I know of).

Portable NES = Not a "chick magnet"

An "iPod" on the other hand...
