I was cleaning up around the house and completely forgot I had these! I bought them at a garage sale a couple years ago from children! :

They are salt and pepper shakers. I don't know if the manufacturer really meant for them to be sick, but the box does say they are "piggy back".

Strangely enough, i'm reading the book of that film now, by William Goldman. It's pretty cool, if you like the film, its worth a read.

Yeah, I've been wondering about that. How similar is it to the movie? As in, is the emphasis on comedy, or romance?

Yes, romance... The movie entertained this abstract idea when it left the more immediate subjects of death, pain, killer eels, killer rats, giants, wisecracking, and ridiculously huge hats.

I just hope you wouldn't read it based on the romance aspect of it. Romance is icky.

Trust me, I'm interested in the humor.

Whoah! I was going through my room, and I found these bad boys. I'd forgotten I'd even had them.

From what i've read so far (about 100 pages) it appears that the emphasis is more on comedy. It may change later in the book though.

Just making sure. You just never know about some people. :

I dated this 20 yr old dude when I was 16 and the weirdo read romance novels!!!! I think he even subscribed to Harlequin and had them sent to his home.

That totally killed it for me.

Romantics are crazy. This last Valentine's day, a friend was telling me that her boyfriend gave her a home cooked lobster dinner, baked her a cake (shaped like a heart) and did a bunch of other crap for her.

Overachieving bastard.

This year I was the exact opposite... I didn't do/buy anything for my pregnant girlfriend ... Not even a card!

Wow, I thought I would never hear the end of it.

Ah, geez, so much that I want to tell, so much to explain, too much...

There are jokes upon jokes upon jokes that could be used to respond to that statement, but all of them require someone who knows the girl in order to 'get' it.

Just so you know.

So, by knowing the girl you in turn, "get it". :

Let me guess, the jokes are either about her being a 'ho' or she's on here way to nun school.

Well, she's.... just, she... ah, you see, she's most certainly not a 'ho, and certainly, no one really thinks she is, but, well, when it's playfully insinuated that she is, she... doesn't help the situation. She doesn't really get... things, and... she's hopeless.
