I am looking for a megaman to play with my gameboy sp.
I was looking at gamerankings.com and there are quite a few for just gameboy advance.
I want something that plays as close to the NES megaman games as possible. Right now I'm thinking that the anniversary collection for GBA is the best way to go. What are your favorites?

Don't bother. Most of them are Battle Network games.

But if you're looking for old school, the Astro Boy game was surprisingly good...

most of what are battle network games?

the Aniversary collection is the old GB games with added colour running on the GBA all on one cart.

then there is of course the Zero series, MegaMan and Bass.

Most of them are Battle Network games...?

Some people just don't stop and think...

Zero Series! Duh. My bad.

Don't discount what I said about the Astro Boy game, though...

Try and see if you can grab the original Mega Man gameboy games off of Ebay or pawn shops...those are (at least from what I gather and have played) combinations of the NES games. For instance, Mega Man 1 on GB is a mix of 1&2 for NES.

RIP GAMES -Walkthroughs, cheats ect... for NES, SNES, GBA
RIP GAMES' FORUMS - Forum for oldschool gamers
