I was originally going to give my shot at making an old school NEs forum, then one guy stopped by not knowing my forum was still in progress and invited me to his forum. It looks kind of quickly made and with not much work. They are thinking of letting me help them.

This is th forum now
http://s11.invisionfree.com/NES_Quest/

I am going to work on it if they let me, I will come back and tell you when I am done. See how much of a diffrence I will make for these people.

Edit: I feel like one of those people from the shows like "Pimp my Ride"

Also, could I add the NES_Files as an Affiliate?

the colour scheme is pretty decent. Although I suggest you start with a more high res image for your banner, that one has clearly been stretched to it's current size, and it doesn't look too nice.

Also, I suggest using GIF or PNG format images for the best size and quality.

a PNG has brighter, more vibrant colours. and a GIF is usually slightly more dull looking, but the file size is much better.

BMP images are both large, and poor quality.

If I were to stretch an image on Photoshop, would the poor quality still show? :?:

Also, I am trying not to copy off NES Files so I am trying to make a lot of topic forums with out the place looking huge.

I am thinking of getting a brighter skin though

yes, it would likely still show, perhaps not as bad, depending on what scaling methods PS employs.

Ok, I did what I could. As for the NES Quest Logo, another person is helping me, he is going to try and make a similar one with a less-distorted vision.

I am going to make an affiliate box too...

EDIT: Also if you were wondering why I was not so active, yes it's because of this, PLUS the Faxanadu Strategy Guide I have been putting together for that Faxanadu Plus site I have been working on
