http://www.marnscda.com/CES2005_XaviXJC.htmIt's interesting to know that here at the dawn of the next generation of mainstream consoles, we seem to forget that there are currently other smaller companies (besides Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft) that are putting out gaming systems. The XaviX system takes an innovative approach to playing games. It uses wireless controller technology to add an innovative twist to a rather simple game.  Each game comes with it's own custom controller - For example: 'Tennis' game has "Tennis racquet" controllers, 'Baseball' has a "bat and ball" controllers, 'Bowling' has a "bowling ball", etc. (How's that for a "revolution"?) The games retail for around $40-60 (US) with both the game and peripherals included. The XaviX system itself is only $80. As for now, there only seems to be a handful of sports games, however there are plans to release action and interactive "fighting games" for it soon (including a Jackie Chan license). This is obviously a console designed for "family interaction", but as the way things stand, it's a market that's open for business.

Why certainly :) now, on-topic, this thing looks cool, though they need more than these sports games to keep it afloat. if they can get the Kung Fu games going, as well as some other genres, I could see myself owning one of those, if I could FIND one. Have they got a website where more information can be found?

They definitely need a bigger library of games, but it's still one of the most inventive things to come along for awhile.

it's not all that inventive, Radica has been making stupid TV games forever. and the CPU on the cart thing has been done before, it's just expensive. Though if they can do it RIGHT, it could be an exciting little console/entertainment unit/home security system.

I like it! (the system AND your new Rimmer avatar, Z.E.N) It reminds me of this game that I got for my son. It's a Lord of the Rings game where you swing a sword around at the TV, and it interacts with what's going on. Pretty cool stuff. I may have to look around and see if I can find one of those. You know, years down the road people will be like, "Dude, Digit Press says this thing is UBER rare... I wish I could find one of those!"
