Do you mean arcade emulators? Mame itself is an emulator, that's just its name. There are other arcade emus. The only one I've ever used besides mame is Raine...I'm not even sure if it's updated anymore. You also have your arcade specific emulators like NeoRageX for NeoGeo, Nebula does NeoGeo, Capcom and Konami too I think. Mame is the best, though it won't play a lot of newer games at full speed or even at all in some cases. Its the best though for covering a wide array of games by different companies and is updated all the time. Hope that helps :)
