Well, I voted for this thread, so I might as well participate. I'm a senior in high school, and I live in Southern California. I'm a ridiculously huge fan of Mystery Science Theatre 3000, as well as many other comedy shows, like Family Guy, Sea Lab, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force. I recently got re-aquainted with games from my childhood, and that, in turn, got me involved with classic gaming in general. My favorite older system is the Sega Genesis.

me yeah I guess I am annoying and well I can be nice if I am pisse dI can be mean, well I am in Junior High school as an 8th grader, 13 years old I have been a gamer most my life, I Hate Grand theft Auto. I like Konami Capcom Hudson, nintendo sega and lucas arts. I am a big fan of resident evil, zelda, mega man castlevania bomberman and metroid. I like all systems but just not like the X-box for some reason, yeah I am guess ing most people think I am stupid behind my back, but I am fine with that, thats all for now.

I think I already wrote that somewhere else, but again for all who don't know yet. :P
I'm a student at Munich University. My major is Japanese studies. My minors are Chinese studies and Theoretical Linguistics.
My favourite music band is Kiroro (they're from Okinawa).
I love movies (Jackie Chan, Asian movies in general, Star Wars, LotR,...), The Simpsons, Futurama, etc.
I'm 25 (26 this year), married, a bit over 6 feet tall, around 172lbs. :wink:

Hey y'all.
My name's Matt. I'm a 22 year old librarian noise/electro acoustic musician who chanced upon this forum and instantly went as giddy as school girl. I was a HUGE gaming fan back in the 80's and early 90's. It occupied a hefty chunk of my life. I became thoroughly jaded with recent developments in the videogame world and gradually stopped playing all together. It wasn't until very recently whilst hunting for some roms I could use for sound samples that I stumbled upon Nes Files and downloaded a few roms and fell completely in love with the NES again.
I used to be alright at Nintendo but I've lost any modicom of skill that I used to have. I'm going to have to rebuild my skills again. I'll start with the basics that I have already finished countless time in the past until I get to a point where I can actually beat Ghosts N' Goblins. Perhaps that's wishful thinking :wink: .
Anywho, I'm exceptionally pleased a found this place and expect alot of input from me.

Heya, I'm Sam, male, 15 years old.
Like basically everyone else here, I've loved video games all my life. I don't really like old video games better than new ones(and vice-versa), but generally, my favorite games are from the SNES or Playstation.
I've got a pretty big interest in Anime, too, but it's not nearly as large as my love for video games.
Heck, let's just throw everything in one category and say I love stuff from Japan.
My other interests include writing, piano, and buying weird stuff off eBay.

I'm 15. I'm male. I love to play video games, and have been collecting...since, well since my brother has in 1989. So since then. My brothers and me have built up a collection of over 200 hunderd games. I also like to hang around with my friends, playing football (use to play hockey a lot, but the strike on hockey really never helped us get in the mood to play hockey :( ) Also, I love buying games. I don't know...I just love having 30 bucks in my hand, and going to EBgames. Also, I like hanging out with my brothers.

I'm a USN Hospital Corpsman (fancy words for medic) living in Yokosuka, Japan for at least the next 3 years.
I'm almost 31 years old and have a cool wife and 3 sons ages 11, 9 (years) and 7 months. My other interests are cars (ASE certified mechanic),tearing things apart to see how they work and pursuing my engineering degree.

Well, what are the basic things you need to know about me?
My real name is Christoffer. I was born and grew up in Haugesund, Norway. I am currently a High School student.
I enjoy all kinds of cult cartoon shows. Talk shows in general is something I find enjoyable, especially after a hard day at school. TV is my friend, to say the least.
I am also a collector, and among those things that I collect, you'll find NES games and merchandise. Movies is also a huge part of my collection, all kinds of movies, really. I try to get the most essential and classic "must have" movies into my collection. I have shelves upon shelves of TV cartoon series in special edition boxes. Such as "The Simpsons" and " The Mike Judge Collection Volumes".
I also enjoy drawing, and I make small cartoon strips for my own personal pleasure. Maybe I'll try to make something more out of it some day, I'm not sure.

Actually, not all was thinking. Some was plotting, some was planning, and finally the explaining of my plan which I plotted after I thought of it.

My name is Jenni (duh) and I'm 25 (which back in the day I thought was older than dirt; now I realize it's only older than the dinosaurs).
I collect Barbies (which is also a duh) and I'm a girl (mentally at least). I love to play video games to a degree which is almost sickening to everyone that I know. I'm just waiting for the "intervention".
I also enjoy reading (I'd have to say I've probably read more books for enjoyment than 90% of the population). I enjoy cooking and baking (not just my brain cells!). I'm computer challenged when it comes to the technical/mechanical part of it (which is funny because my father a computer genius) and you'd think I would have learned something since I have had my own computer since I was 8 years old for pete's sake!
I'm also a horrible speller (which you have probably already noticed from all my posts). My grammer is sometimes off as well (it's pretty bad when I have a foreigner for a husband whom is always correcting me on it).
If I could do one thing in this world I would get rid of all the feminists; they suck and have "ruined" my dream job (of laxing around being a housewife). :lol:
