Word.
Got invited over to this place by Zen, and it looks like a place I could get to liking, plus I see a few familiar faces. I've been an NES fan my whole life, and I'm guessing that like most members here I play my NES way more than I play anything else I own. I've been a regular over at the VGC NES forums since 2001, serving as a moderator for about two years, so I've got forum experience. I lurk way more than I post, and only post when I need to say something.
I'm 20, I am an engineering student at Arizona State University, and theoretically really should grow up or something like that, but there's no signs that that's going to happen any time soon.
My favorite game is Startropics, and I'm also a sucker for puzzle games.
Outside of video games, I drum and teach drumlines for a couple high schools.

Growing up is over-rated. ASU has a nice campus; minus all that adobe colour... (yuck). http://www.myspace.com/jennikisaI need friends.... I had to nix Tom. He wasn't really my friend. His smile "mocked" me.

Welcome to the forums!
Tip- don't use abbreviations like "ppl" or "sry" etc. We like to keep this forum looking readable and nice.
Enjoy!

Name: Nick
Age: 24
Location: Denver, CO
Occupation: Advertising
Interests: Used to be real into cars until I realized I can't afford to fix them when I break them after putting go fast parts on them. I also enjoy spinning (deejaying) - I play vinyl and usually play one form of trance or another.
Lastly I enjoy anything that can be considered non-productive. Gaming systems owned: NES, Genesis, 3DO, Sega Game Gear, PS2, sort of Intellivision (gave it back to my mom for her enjoyment) I think that's it..
What brought me here: Broken NES

Hi,
My name is Adam and I found this site while googling for new NES forums. Score!
I am 25 years old and married.
I have been collecting 8-bit for a few years now, completely abandoning most other systems. I have recently gotten into collecting complete 8-bit games (in box, w/ instruction manual).
My other hobby is DVD collecting.
I am also a list junkie (top 10, checklists, etc.)
It's a sad thing that your adventures have ended here!!

age: 20 years old occupation: student, trying to become a music producer (sound engineer title) 3 year program, 8 - 2 pm, monday through friday
Well, I used to post alot at other nes forums in the past, stopped posting for more then a year now, or two, i dont know anymore, i've been traveling alot, sold all my nes games and gave away my nes and nes paraphernalia. i had an account here once when this new nes files forum started (before it used to be another format) but i have forgotton my username and password. ummm... let's see, about myself: i enjoy traveling, still play the nes but only through emulation nowadays, i can get pirate carts for five bucks from a place near my house, among bunch of other pirate stuff, like dvd's (2 bucks), music cd's (2 bucks), playstation 2 games (2 bucks), computer software (2bucks) pretty much anything that is a disk is two bucks. eitherwise there's super nintendo carts for for five bucks, and pirate nes carts (8 in 1, stuff like that) for five, i've seen a street fighter pirate cart, if i had a nes still i'd buy it, if anyone else wants it, let me know. and umm.. yeah. i oviously dont live in the usa.
