Yeah programmers bring or send them out to be tested,if something has to be changed they change it and make another one so there can be more versions of proto's. Most of Nintendo's own stuff proto's or testcarts were picked up by Nintendo again so they wouldn't be sold,although alot were stolen by workers,testers,gamestore people,game mags and people sold them. If the game just basicly suckled it wouldn't come out and then the proto is worth alot more money. At the moment i have 1 proto, i really want some more,it's great to own those things,hand made!

I think I got about 15-20 or so. I just got my NES this Christmas, and I had games, but they are as old as the first day/year the NES came out, and they were in my attic. (I can't believe how unwell my bro treated his games)

I just recently broke 100, I'm at maybe 105 now... I think I'm doing OK considering I just started in December :)

I have only got 14 games, but I am trying to spread the love evenly between various consoles. The only place I can really get NES games now is Ebay and car boot sales which is a bit of a bummer :D
