Is anybody here planning on seeing the new Studio Ghibli film, "Tales from Earthsea"?

I watched it (in Japanese of course) and, well, there are better Ghibli movies, but it's definitely not bad. If you're a Ghibli fan it's an enjoyable movie worth its admission fee. :)

SuperBad, one of the funniest films I ever seen, I loved it. Along with Transformers, Superbad both get my vote for best films of the year.

Just for the record were you one of the 8%?

I've seen it, it's pretty decent. The 2nd one is the best so far IMO. I'm really looking forward to Rob"White"Zombie's version of Halloween, I love horror movies.

I saw Superbad, I think there was a little too much vulgarity and it didn't live up to it's hype.. but pretty good movie. McLovin pwns.

Are you glad he chose McLovin? Or would you rather of him chose Mohommed? :

yucky.

~***Edit***~

Just got back from seeing Chuck&Larry, I really enjoyed the movie. Kevin James is a comic genius.

The preview for 1408 I saw looked promising, but is it so bad?

Yes.

I thought it was horrible, but everyone has different tastes.

Tastes ARE really different.
I watched 1408 yesterday night with friends and I liked it. I even consider buying the DVD to see that ominous alternate ending.

Glad you liked it.

I went and saw Super Bad tonight. I thought it was a pretty damn funny movie. Had its low points, but it was still a good movie. Buy worthy.

Across the Universe:
One of the best movies I've ever seen. I was moved, it was so God like. I knew I would like it but I didn't think I would like it this much, I swear confirmed movie of the year. I was singing along with most of The Beatles songs. I was the only one there but everyone missed out. I'm so buying this on DVD when it comes out. I could so relate with this movie, I loved every minute of it.

I watched Ratatouille the last day and liked it.
I think I'll get the DVD or maybe even the BluRay version when I'm in Japan.

Well, decided to try something a little more foreign. I watched "Volver", and I thought it was an excellent piece of work. It might be a little dull to someone, but if you are interested in film and are capable of watching a drama, then I'd say you should see it.

Actually, not all was thinking. Some was plotting, some was planning, and finally the explaining of my plan which I plotted after I thought of it.
