Well I wanted to start this so maybe we can warn each other about sellers or buyers on EBay. My wife who also sells on EBay got scammed by a buyer. That's different right? I mean most of the time it's sellers who scam, not the fine folks on this site, but others. Some of the best sellers are members here. Anyway, this guy deal in Nintendo Games. His ID is Mistypab but has a second ID discountgames. He also has an EBay store and an internet store under discountgames. What he did. Mt wife first sold him an original top loader with 20 games that were cleaned and tested. He wrote her and said 2 games did not work. Ok, not the end of the world. She has 2 of the same games in the house so she sends him the games, no questions asked, no return required, not even shipping charged. Does he leave feedback? No. Did I mention mistypab had private feedback? Anyway, He then buys 2 lots of 25 NES games from her through EBay auctions. He writes that 13 out of 50 games do not work even after he cleaned them. Now, I know when I clean and test games, I average about 2 out of 25 that don't work and I usually get one of them to work with pursistant cleaning. 13 out of 50? She sold them uncleaned and untested in other words as is. She just did not have the time to clean 50 games and test them. Then I started helping her. I looked at the paypal payment, which he shorted her $2.00 on shipping and then paid once she sent a PayPal invoice and saw his internet address went there and discovered his other ID, internet store and EBay store. When he wrote it came down to I didn't leave feedback yet hoping we can work this out. Now you tell me.....would you trust that the 13 games are 13 games that you sent if you were in my wifes shoes? 2 ID's, in possesion of thousands of games in his stores, private feedback, and saying that 2 games that were tested and worked and didn't when they got in his hands.....would you trust the honesty of this guy? This guy is a scam artist. He send broken games from his stores to new sellers and blames then for selling them to him. That's my take on it. BTW, he left her a negative for the auction that she sent him the free replacement games too.
Well, I did some more research into mistypab. I did a search of the auctions he won in the last 30 days. I looked to see if he left feedback on those auctions. The first 4 I found that he didn't leave feedback, I contacted the sellers to see how the auction went. Here are the results. 3 out of the four he complained there were games that didn't work and the fourth one, he claimed he didn't get the games at all because the seller didn't use delivery confirmation. It's official, this guy is a scam artist! So, avoid mistypab aka discountgames or you will be next. Nice little racket this guy has going here. I mean especially for any sellers who don't use delivery confirmation, he gets all the games and a refund too. My wife wrote EBay again and gave them the id's of the other 4 ebay sellers to be ripped off by this guy. I'll let you know what happens.
No Slander, just facts. :(

This guy is obviously a scammer. I have sold over 1500 games in the last 2 years. I have had exactly 1 NES, 0 SNES and 2 Sega Master carts that I could not get to work. There is no excuse for this.

Thanks for the heads up. I just got a Nintendo, so I have to stock up on games. I came so close to buying from discountgames, but then I saw this. Thanks.
