I just picked up one of those cute little PSone systems. I am wondering where a good place for information about mods is, or just in general what some good mods for it are. Some things I want to do with it are emulators and VCD movies. Backup games is not an issue really ( I figure it will happen with the other two mods activated). If you know any places with information without have to sign up please post the link, or post information/comments that would be helpful for a simpleton like myself. Thanks.

They are really small but you could dremel a window in the lid, or spray paint it a radioactive color, a couple of really bright LEDs and a fan would look way cool.

Try looking here... http://www.modyoursystem.com/PS1installation.htmlYou will probably need to actually install a MOD chip for your PSOne, for the things you'll want to do with it. There are other alternatives too (like the "spring" trick), but they end up being more of a hassle. http://www.playthenes.com

you could do software, region and BIOS mods on a PSone... but It'd be a severe pain in the ass... Just wait till you pop the top. all those solders are going to be tiny as all get out. I'd almost say you'd need a microscope at some points just to see what you are doing.
