I was looking through google news today and they had an article about that game. Aparently there is a "nationwide parental alert" after a mod to the game reportably adds pornographic images to the game.

Unrelated to the mini game, but GTA related, kinda funny.
I went to a bowling alley over the weekend and the place had an arcade machine that was "GTA: San Andreas". There was a PS2 controller coming out of the cabinet, and control description/manual where the normal arcade controls are. For a quarter you got to play for 3 minutes. I didn't play, but I thought it was really funny.

If for a quarter you got 3 minutes, and there are two-hundred quarters in fifty dollars. Then you play for six hundred minutes..or 10 hours for the same price of the game. Just thinking.

Ha! I really liked the "user comments" below the article. It's good to know that there are so many others out there who think just like me.

Anyway, I didn't see any mention in that article of which platform of 'GTA: San Andreas' they were reffering to. If it's the PC version, they might as well just forget it. There are so many possibilities for modding that it would be impossible to stop it without resorting to complete censorship of the game (I used a mod for the PC version of 'GTA: Vice City' to make the girls at the Pole Position club dance topless... I felt it added more realism to the game that was crucial to the development of the story).
Although that article did state that the programmer just enabled access to the so called "mini game" that was already written in the game's original code so who knows.

At any rate, it's not something to make a big fuss about. It's amazing how pathetic people in this country are when "sex" is a more controversial issue than violence (of course, it's been that way much longer than I've been alive).

LOL. Sorry, but it just sounds funny.
Anyways, this reminds me when Mortal Kombat was discussed in Congress. lol. I know this is a bit different, but I just thought of it in my mind.

I think the reason everyone is going nuts is because it was in the original code for the game, and now the ESRB is pissed because they would have had to rate it Adults only

You're absolutely correct lol. It was ok when everyone was killing civillians in the game, but then some stupid sexual thing like this comes out and now everyone gets worried lol?

I thought it was funny because it's not like they show upclose crotch shots or anything in the game. America is a silly place. If I wanted to I could walk down the street with strategically placed tape on my boobs; but as long as my nips aren't showing it's not illegal. But guys have nips too and they are able to walk around without shirts. It's just not fair. People just get all huffed up about the wrong things in the US. Shouldn't we be getting more upset over the fact that our Reprasenitives give themselves hefty raises every year but refuse to raise minimum wage? Or that they let creepy sex offenders run free?

I really don't see the problem with this. It's just something that was in the game, but was obviously a scrapped idea when it came to packaging time (either that or the creators were just having fun with it on a slow night). It wasn't part of the PLAYABLE game. Even though the mod only opens up something that was there, it wouldn't have been accessible in the first place. No reason to get mad. As Z.E.N was talking about... there are mods for games everywhere.... good or bad (bad = Z.E.N's favorite mod ;) ---- Good = being KARNOV on Quake).

I'm guessing if it is avaliable for PS2 and Xbox you would need a mod chip of some sort. I dont see any other way of getting a mod on a console game.

For some guys it should be illegal.

I'll be the first to say it: This thread is useless without pics.

BarbiJenniGirl, I do believe it is constitutional to walk around topless for you, and I doubt guys would complain. I know there was a court case in the US (not sure which court)on this very topic and they ruled in favor of topless women, but come on, who wouldn't?

My List. Remember, everything can be bought, for a price.

There is a sex mini game like that in God of War too. You have to press cobination of buttons shown.

It's funny because it shows a vase on the side of the bed, apparently pressing the buttons makes the bed rock more if you know what I mean and eventually knock down the vase.

I don't think its a big deal, but is it really nessiary to have sex in a game, and watch animated people have sex. I just think there is no need.

From the screenshots, everyone looks fully clothed... I don't see what the issue is anyway... the game is rated MATURE. I think that's within the bounds of a mature rating.

The screen shots were so disappointing! I was at least hoping for some moderate nudity.
