I don't know where to post this, but...
Does anybody own a "wavebird" controller?
I was thinking of getting one, but, I know some wireless controllers are pretty awful, so I was hoping anyone who has used/owns one could provide a little insight into how good/bad it is?
Thanks.

My buddy has one, it hasnt given him any problems. I myself havent used one, but it looks kind of bulky. Maybe not. might be a good investment.

I've heard nothing but good about them, Other than the lack of a rumble feature they seem to be about the best on the market. Also, it's a first party accessory, so you know it won't be crap, Nintendo has a reputation to live up to.

I've never ever had a problem with a official nintendo product in about twelve years of buying their products so i'm sure it will be of good quality. I think i'll get one, if I get on from EBay, it'll be about £20 less than it costs in the shop new.
As for the lack of a rumble feature, I don't think i'm too fussed, after using controllers with the feauture for so long, you don't really notice it any more. At least I don't :?

I really don't notice the rumble either. I think my hand has become "num" to it.

I just bought me one on EBay, looking forward to using it. Has anyone played Mario Tennis on the Gamecube? it looks good, but so did mario golf (I didn't really like that)

^Congrats. Did you get it used? (not good for controllers) I think I'm leaning towards getting a wave bird when my controller busts.

It came today, it is pretty good. It was second hand, but it's in good condition.

I just picked up a Wavebird at walmart the other day along with a PS2 Logitech wireless controller. I gotta say, its nice to chill out on the bed playing games without freaking out when someone walks by. "LOOK OUT DUDE!!! MY WIRE!!! MY WIRE!!!" lol no more of that mess thank god!
