Like it says, list all the video game systems you've ever owned and the ones you currently own.

Everything i've owned

NES
SNES
N64
PS2 (Slim style)
XBOX (With the good Samsung DVD drive)
Sega Genesis (Newer slim style)
Sega Game Gear (Broken screen)
Game Boy Advance

At the moment, I don't have access to the Sega Genesis, my brother has it (he technically got it for christmas back in 1994 or so, so he claimed it a year ago and took it)
He also took the NES and N64, but I got both back since i've always been in love with them, the Sega...meh, not as much.
The N64 had always been mine since I got it for christmas, the NES was his, but he knows I would play it more than him.
At the moment, my PS2 and XBOX are collecting dust (no games I find interesting anymore that I own, although I haven't finished any of my GTAs, I have all 3).

I should mention i'm only 17, I remember getting every system except the NES, which i've grown up with :)

I also remember the days leading up to, and the christmas day that I got the 64, OMG I could have pissed my pants in happiness.
If only something like that could consume a 17 year old like it did an 8 year old :(
Oh well, i'll have it forever.
I haven't gotten any system for a gift since. I bought the PS2, XBOX and GBA all on my own.

I also have some stuff to do. I have to buy another Game Gear or find a new screen for mine, I have to find 2 games for the game gear (a Lion King one and a baseball one, I lost both back in 1997 or so), I have to buy ninja turtles 1 and 2 for NES (loaned both out years ago and never got them back
After getting my wave race back from a friend with a torn up label, I never loaned a game again, bastards

Yeah, there was another thread about stuff like that.
But in my thread I didn't ask about the ones you "had at one time", but only the ones you currently own.

Ok then, I have:

Gameboy (the first one)
Gameboy in Black
Gameboy Color (pink... I think) (jp)
Gameboy Pocket (green) (jp)
Gameboy Advance (clear pink) (jp)
Gameboy Advance SP (Famicom Special Edition) (jp)
Nintendo DS (Pure White) (jp)
Ad-Fami (GBA-Famicom player) (jp)
Wonderswan Color (jp)

NES
Famicom
Sharp Twin Famicom (Black)
Master System 2
Super NES
Super Famicom
Sega Saturn (jp)

N64
Playstation (jp)
Dreamcast
Gamecube (platinum)

That's all for now. :) I hope I didn't forget anything.

I think you need to check out THIS THREAD.

I love trading, I have things that people really want, that I don't really care about. or others have things that I'm very interested in that they don't care too much about. Trading is the best way to build up a collection.

If they give you what the stuff is worth, they probably won't make any profits...

Sinclair ZX Spectrum (originally rubber-key model, upgraded to + model)
Sinclair ZX Spectrum +2A (broken tapedeck)
Commodore 64 (broken)
Amiga A600
Amiga A1200
Atari 2600 (smaller black plastic model)
NES
Master System
SNES
Megadrive (dismantled casing for playing JP games, broken power lights)
N64
Saturn
GC
Dreamcast
PS2 (heavyweight style)
Gameboy
Game Boy Advance
Game Boy Advance SP
Gameking

Don't think I've missed anything, and the Atari 2600 is, I think, the only one I no longer have.

The problem is, they give you the value of the stuff to most people. Most people don't really want retro stuff. It's mostly only valuable to someone who's collecting it, and knows it's rarity and such.

Just be glad those stores still take retro stuff off people who don't want it and sell it back to us at an inflated, but still fairly reasonable price.

Well I should probably mention something, I can understand giving someone a couple bucks for a NES game then selling it for 5-8 bucks (for ordinary games anyhow). But at least the place here is selling fairly ordinary games for 15 dollars or more. And I didn't even look at the complete games, these 15 dollar ones were just loose.

Someone must be buying them though or they surely wouldn't keep them on the shelf.

Does sound like a bit of a bum deal though.

I currently own:
Old-style Vic-20 - boxed
New-style Vic-20 (needs new char rom) -boxed
Commodore 64 -boxed
NES
Twin Cobra arcade pcb (Untested - parents gave away RGB monitor)

(2)Sega Genesis model 2
GameBoy Pocket
N64
Sony PlayStation
