Everything i mention is sealed. I recently bought this thing called a Alladin Deck Enhancer and 7 games.

Linus Spaceheads Cosmic Crusade

Micro Machines

Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy

Big Nose Freaks Out

4 Quattro Sports

4 Quattro Adventure

Dizzy the Adventure

I bought it all for $5 and was wondering how much everything is really worth, or if i actually spent too much.

i dunno if i'm selling it, if it's worth like $10 then no, but if it's like 40 or 50 bucks then i'd sell it. but i'd like to know the actual value b4 i'd sell it. Just make me an offer i guess, if it's good enough i'd be willing to sell it.

Not all that much... They go on ebay with the complete set of games for $50 - $60 USD, about the same as a single Tengen Tetris cart.

This is my theory from looking at lists of NES cart values: The Alladin and corresponding carts were rare and valuable at one time, but the market has recently been flooded with them. I think this is either because more were found in large numbers somewhere, or some were recently sold at auction when the original manufacturer/storage company went out of business or relocated.

I could be way off here, of course.

A few months ago (when Roth got his) someone was slowly letting them out on ebay for a very reasonable price of $50 - $60 Buy it Now. The price will eventually go back up, but I wouldn't expect that for a few years.

Regardless of rarity and value, those are some fun games. To me, fun is more important than value or bragging rights.

The same guy is still selling them:

If you had a sealed set before this guy was selling them by the crate it would have been worth a lot more. Still, $5 is a complete steal!

Yeah, $5 is AWESOIME! I paid way more for mine, but still cheap in the long run.

Also, play the games... don't leave them in the package ;)

Wow, that thing is interesting. I knew of some of Codemasters games (Difficult not to, since they were a UK based company, and VERY influential on home computers of the time) but I'd never heard of the Aladdin before. I'd only ever seen their "Game Genie" style plug in games, like Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy.

I don't think those 2 things go well in one sentence...Aladin carts are quite valueble.

It is clear that you could sell it and make a healthy profit, however, if I were you, i'd just play the damn thing. $5 is a complete steal, the seller must have no idea of how much it goes for on EBay. Hehe :)
